The service is free and confidential and offered by experienced workers. Services are available for individuals affected by substance use issues and/or emotional distress.
DAPL's Counselling Service is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Our counselling staff are qualified in a range of disciplines including: Humanistic, Integrative, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy and Person Centred counselling.VIEW SERVICE
DAPL delivers counselling for young people at school aged 10 and above, who are experiencing emotional distress (e.g stress, anxiety, bereavement etc).
Additionally we provide counselling for young people under the age of 18 who are affected by their own or another’s substance use.
DAPL also provides support to parents/carers and families who are affected by a young person's alcohol or drug use.
Adults experiencing substance use issues can access DAPL's dedicated Recovery Worker team who offer support and help individuals as they decide the route of their Recovery journey.VIEW SERVICE
