Recovery volunteer resource
We are thrilled to announce a generous donation to support furthering our aims. This week, Perri McIntosh from Fife Properties visited our Leven headquarters to present a generous donation of a new laptop to the DAPL team. The donation was officially received by Susan Innes, Adult and Recovery Service Coordinator.
At DAPL, our recovery volunteers are the heart of what we do. They provide vital peer support, engagement, consultation, and a lived-experience perspective that is invaluable to those navigating their recovery journey. However, providing this high level of support requires the right tools. This new laptop will be dedicated to our Recovery Volunteer team, enabling them to increase efficiency,
Speaking on the donation, Susan Innes noted: "Local business support like this is vital. It shows our recovery volunteers and our clients that the wider Fife community is rooting for them. This laptop isn't just a piece of hardware; it’s an investment in the people of Fife."
Fife Properties has a long-standing reputation for being "more than just an estate agent," frequently engaging in local charity work and community initiatives. Their contribution to DAPL highlights a shared commitment to making Fife a healthier, more supportive place to live.
Are you interested in joining our team? DAPL is always looking for dedicated individuals to join our recovery volunteer program.
